Personal Support Workers are essential members of our healthcare team, playing a crucial role in supporting patients and their families. At Priority Healthcare, they provide compassionate assistance with personal care and activities of daily living, ensuring patients can either recover comfortably from illness or continue aging in place within their homes.
Location: Greater Toronto Area
- Provide care and companionship to individuals and families during times of illness, or recovery.
- Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, toileting, meal preparation, and feeding.
- Carry out basic health-related tasks, such as changing non-sterile dressings, and supporting medication administration under the supervision of a home care supervisor or nurse.
- Handling routine housekeeping tasks, including laundry, dishwashing, and bed-making.

A PSW certification from an Ontario School is a mandatory requirement or Nursing School Letter of Standing from an Ontario School (if you are a nursing student applying as a PSW).
